Sri Lanka Navy arrested 101 fishermen for using illegal fishing methods in the seas close to the Trincomalee port. The apprehensions were made during the raids carried out during the past 2 weeks. Sri Lanka Navy said the arrested fishermen, their harvest and equipment were handed over to Trincomalee fisheries authorities for necessary action.
