Muhammad Sattar said that during the floods, the communication roads were washed away, making it impossible to deliver fish, so the remaining fish in most of the fish farms were distributed cheaply and free for the villagers.

Considering this loss, the government has suffered a loss of Rs 35 crore 30 lakhs and Rs 1 billion 17 lakhs to the trout marms and land owners.
Assistant Director Abrar Ahmad says that most of the trout farms in several other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have suffered damage to the people involved in this business due to the monsoon rains and floods this year.
