Update on the preparations for the UN Biodiversity Conference: China to host a two-part summit on nature.
The first part of the meetings will take place virtually from 11 to 15 October 2021, with the second part reconvening in face-to-face meetings in Kunming, China from 25 April to 8 May 2022.
The Secretariat remains committed to ensuring the successful and timely preparation of COP-15 and the concurrent meetings of the Parties to the Protocols. As such, the Bureau of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has considered and approved revised dates for the meetings.
