Agriculture ministers from Iran and Vietnam have been emphasizing their desire to reinvigorate cooperation in fisheries and agriculture, reports Mehr News.
Vietnamese minister for agriculture and rural development, Cao Duc Phat, and Iran’s agriculture minister Mahmoud Hojjati, have met to investigate areas for bilateral cooperation between the two sides.
Iran has talked up the role its farmed trout might play in trade links, while Vietnam sees its position as a neighbor to China, and with a free trade agreement with 15 countries, as a boon to trade.
