Chandrika had entered her fifties in March 2014 when the Malaysian Airlines MH370 aircraft on which she was flying to Beijing disappeared. What we know with certainty that mighty ocean has taken Chandrika into her loving care. It was as though she gave her life for the people of the ocean she loved. Chandrika’s life was short, but it was a life that was caring, warm, jolly, inspiring, energetic, and purposeful laced with an immensely delightful sense of humor. Her husband Naren and daughter Meghna were central to her moorings in life. For them and for all who knew her, Chandrika’s disappearance, in Naren’s poetic words, was “a conclusion without an end”.
