The chef and restaurateur Mitch Tonks has launched the first full range of British tinned seafood, canning specialties such as Lyme Bay mussels and Cornish sardines.

Tonks, from Devon, is selling the £5-£6 products through his Rockfish brand, a small group of family seafood restaurants dotted across the South West.

He said he first came up with the idea in lockdown and hopes to promote premium British fish across the UK while supporting the fishermen who catch it.
