The Supreme Committee of the Sultanate of Oman has allowed the reopening of a range of commercial activities on Tuesday, easing restrictions imposed to contain the spread of the coronavirus in the country.
The commercial activities that are allowed to open include money exchange houses, vehicle repair shops, spare parts stores, stationary stores, printing offices and Sanad services. The committee has also given permission to restart fishing services, Times of Oman reported.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has registered 82 new coronavirus cases in Oman on Tuesday. The total cases in the country has now reached 2,131, including 364 recoveries and 10 deaths.
