Fishermen in Bangladesh’s Chattogram region, some 242 km southeast of capital Dhaka, have restarted fishing in the coastal areas of the Bay of Bengal after a few days’ break due to cyclonic storm Jawad. On Wednesday, one of the largest sea fish landing stations in the region — “Patharghata” — was seen a buzz with both buyers and sellers amid the arrival of plenty of fish.
