Four policemen of Banatibazar Naval Police Outpost have been withdrawn in connection with the death of a fisherman at Charbaliatli village in Patuakhali’s Kalapara upazila in Bangladesh.
Sub-inspector Shahidul Islam, in-charge of the outpost, confirmed it to The Daily Star yesterday.
Besides, Patuakhali district police and naval police have formed two separate probe bodies to investigate the incident.
The committees were asked to submit their reports in two days.
