Maldives and Rwanda have signed key agreements in a bid to fortify bilateral cooperation. The governments of Maldives and Rwanda signed the five key agreements with a view to further enhancing bilateral ties, during a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Rwanda, on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the signing of the key agreements demonstrates a “pivotal” point of progress in the bilateral relations between the two countries and will further solidify cooperation and coordination between the two countries on bilateral and multilateral issues.
Diplomatic relations were established between Maldives and Rwanda on 06 September 2019.
