The Maine Lobster Union won emergency relief to stop the closure of productive lobster water off the coast of Maine, according to a press release sent by the union.
The Maine Lobster Union says the injunctive relief was granted by the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine on Saturday.
The union says the closure would have impacted a large area of prime lobstering territory.
