Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has directed a complete ban on illegal fishing trawlers as the Directorate of Fisheries Balochistan has been permanently shifted to Gwadar from Quetta. According to an official source, the Directorate of Fisheries has also been immediately shifted from Quetta to Gwadar to resolve the problems being faced by the local fishermen who are protesting for the past three weeks along with other local residents of Gwadar and Lasbela districts. The token system for fishermen was also abolished, whereby the fishermen could enter into sea without any permission, he added.
