Six fishermen were rescued by Philippine Navy sailors in the Philippine Rise on Tuesday (Sept. 14).
The BRP Andres Bonifacio (PS-17) received a distress call from fishing vessel FV MR KUPIDO, which had been drifting some 30 nautical miles southeast of Philippine Rise, the Naval Forces Southern Luzon (Navforsol) said in a statement.
