The medical team of Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) HIMMAT provided medical assistance to severely injured fishermen onboard a fishing vessel in the open sea on Saturday.
PNS HIMMAT immediately responded to the emergency call by a Pakistani fishing vessel “MASHALLAH”, and provided medical assistance to injured fishermen onboard, said a statement issued by the Pakistan Navy.
The PNS HIMMAT medical team also provided medicines, bandages and edibles. The master of the fishing vessel and the fishermen onboard thanked them for the assistance rendered by the Pakistan Navy. Besides safeguarding the maritime interests of Pakistan, Pakistan Navy has always been at the forefront to provide humanitarian assistance at sea.
