While the coronavirus pandemic has spread to all corners of the world, there are a few countries that are still unaffected. Statista has listed out 9 countries that have not reported any cases of COVID-19 as per global tracking carried out by the Johns Hopkins University as of March 30, 2020. Many smaller pacific island nations are also currently free of the outbreak.
The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, considered the world’s most secretive countries, was said to have been quick to respond to the spread of the virus by closing its borders with China, among other measures. Its population is estimated at 25.8 million as of mid-2020.
