The Guidelines for Securing Sustainable Small-scale Fisheries in the Context of Food Security and Poverty Alleviation (SSF Guidelines), initiated by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), is now available in the Wolof language of Senegal. (Wolof belongs to the Senegambian branch of the NigerCongo language family and is the lingua franca, and most commonly spoken, of the six traditional Senegalese languages.)
