Island Worlds…of land and sea an exhibition of my Andaman & Nicobar photographs is being held in Chennai from the 2nd to the 6th of September at Amethyst in Royapettah. The exhibition is a consolidation of my 20 years of work and photography in the islands and has been printed on silk fabric in an effort to create a new visual and aesthetic experience. The first exhibition of Island Worlds…was held in Pune in February earlier this year and it will travel to Goa in the last week of October. Earlier, on the 31st of August there is another event in Chennai where I’ll be making a presentation on the A&N islands and reading from ‘The Last Wave – an island novel’ in Adyar. This is part of the Urban Colloquium organised by the Urban Design Collective.
