Labour migration significantly contributes to inclusive and sustainable economic growth and development of Cambodia. However, addressing the specific vulnerabilities of migrant workers in the fishing and seafood processing sectors requires that further legislative progress is made towards the adoption of international labour standards.
This report launching event by the ILO Ship to Shore Rights South East Asia programme discusses key findings and recommendations for enhancing the legal protections of Cambodian migrant fishers and seafood processing workers in line with international standards.
